The shoulder of the woman got TOTALLY screwed up by a cat paw print.... lol.. but still one of my best anatomy/perspective pieces in a long time!

Part of my Kama Sutra series.. The title is the name of the position!

**A note on my methods: You may notice that the bodies are not properly shaded, that is on purpose. I prepped the painting by laying down a mixture of yellow ochre and skin tone, in a very streaky manner, leaving the brush strokes visible, and then let it dry. I then transfered the lineart onto the painting, colored in their hair with watercolor pencils, and then painted over it, blending. I then outlined the body in the black watercolor pencil, and then went back over it to give it subtle shades and a smoother look. I then colored in the background sheets with the black pencil, and then painted the shading. Same with the 'wall' background. I wanted it to have an abstract feeling, where the canvas was their body, the brush strokes were their skin, but everything outside of the skin is colored, shaded and falls backward, while the bodies pop forward and meld together


About 6 hours all together!
